These paintings were inspired by the season's trendy Aztec patterns and my longing for Spring time blooms. I entered them into Element Eden's Art Search on Pinterest. Check it out here!

In between here & there opening reception!

During the cold winter months when I was reminiscing of past trips to warm destinations, I asked my fellow artist friends (as well as wave buddies) to do a surf themed art show with me. Our vision finally came to light on a warm summer's eve at Artful Living Gallery. Check out the photos from our opening below! P.S. Our closing reception will be held this Sunday, October 13th at Root Cafe.

The artists: Brian Willse, Billy Delfs, myself, & Ben Haehn

For that special Arrested Development fan in your life.

To celebrate the return of Arrested Development, a few of my artist friends and I collaborated noggins to whip up this faux greeting card line based on the misadventures of our favorite sitcom family. My contribution was Loose Seal! (bottom left).

Landscape Painting

Close up of my Sailboat watercolor painting above, landscape series below.

A couple summers ago, I had the pleasure of painting landscapes on site for my company, American Greetings. Above are some of my pastel renderings of Lakewood and Edgewater Park located in Cleveland, OH. I also included my watercolors based on my memories of the bayside in Sarasota, Fl and camping along the beaches of Encinitas, CA. Look for my art on American Greetings cards!

Spring

Spring has finally arrived! Although, I'm thankful for the sunshine, I can't help but miss those little white flecks of glimmer on the hillsides. Below are a couple snapshots from a recent venture with my trusty snowboard and some good friends.

White Magnolia

The sweet scent of the Magnolia flower yields a special place in my heart, having grown up in the South. I created this piece as a wedding gift for my lovely friend Claire, who recently tied the knot in the beautiful city of Savannah, GA. Below are a few photos from my visit.

Roxy Girl

I entered an essay/photo contest in an effort to win a surf/snow trip with the Roxy team! Log into your facebook account and click here to check out my photos and biography! I would be so grateful if you would help me out and click VOTE on my entry! Voting ends on April 13th. Thanks so much!
